Travel Weekly Wins Three Prestigious Eddie & Ozzie Awards
NEW YORK — October 7, 2025 — Travel Weekly is proud to announce that it has been honored with three Eddie & Ozzie Awards from Folio, recognizing excellence in journalism and media design across the publishing industry. The awards were presented by Folio at a dinner in New York on October 6.
Travel Weekly received two Eddie Awards for editorial excellence and one Ozzie Award for design excellence, underscoring the publication’s continued leadership in travel industry journalism and creative presentation.
Award Wins
• Best Use of Editorial Data, B2B (Eddie Award) – Travel Industry Survey
This annual staff report analyzes data from a survey of travel agency business, fielded by Phocuswright, a sister company to Travel Weekly. The project demonstrates the publication’s deep commitment to data-driven industry insights.
• Best Series, Business-to-Business: Travel and Transport (Eddie Award) – Getting into groups
This two-part cover story examined how travel advisors can grow their group business across sectors such as cruises and river cruises. The series was a collaboration between senior editors Jamie Biesiada, Nicole Edenedo, Christina Jelski, Andrea Zelinski, and Robert Silk, and news editor Johanna Jainchill.
• Feature Design, B2B (Ozzie Award) – What queer families want from travel
Designed by creative director Jennifer Martins, this feature was recognized for its outstanding visual storytelling and creative presentation.
