TravelWeekly.com was selected as one of Media Business magazine’s “10 Great Business Media Websites” for 2012.The winning websites were chosen based on “a rigorous selection process conducted by the editors," Media Business said, which it said included vetting the publishers’ descriptions of the sites; gathering key metrics; and visiting the sites to review content quality, graphics and video capabilities, the amount of user-generated content and basic functionality such as navigation and search. "This is a wonderful honor and recognition of hard work done throughout the Travel Weekly family," said Arnie Weissmann, editor in chief of Travel Weekly. "In our last redesign, we really set out to come up with enhancements that would make news and information more easily accessible for our readers, more effective for advertisers and, frankly, to put a lot more distance between us and any competitor."
