Publisher for Travel Weekly - Northstar Increases Investment in Marketing Solutions Initiative
SECAUCUS, NJ – Northstar Travel Media, the leading business-to-business media company serving the global travel industry, announced that Jack Grant has been appointed Publisher for TravelAge West and Associate Publisher for Travel Weekly. He reports to Bob Sullivan, Executive Vice President and Group Publisher for the Retail Travel Network, the BTN Group and PhoCusWright. Previously under separate management, Northstar has made the strategic decision to bring Travel Weekly and TravelAge West under the same senior management team which will be lead by Grant. He is responsible for overseeing all digital and print advertising sales as well as developing future growth initiatives for both brands. Each publication will maintain dedicated content, sales and marketing teams but will now leverage the combined customer and market strength of both brands to develop expanded business for the Northstar portfolio in the retail travel industry. “We are delighted to have Jack join the Travel Weekly and TravelAge West team. He also has a successful track record as a publisher with Gruner & Jahr USA Publishing, Hearst Corporation, NY Times Magazine Group, and Times Mirror Magazine Group.
